May The Source Be with You
Those of you who have been at genealogy for 20 minutes or longer know that The Source is one of the must-have items for your genealogy library. Fortunately, a freshly updated version has just been released. I haven't been able to see it yet (still waiting for my copy), but I caught Joe Beine's review at the Genealogy Roots Blog. Looks like a keeper, although I wouldn't have expected any less.P.S. I've got a brief section in there on finding those ancestors in the Ellis Island database, so take a look if great-granddaddy is still playing hide-and-seek with you. Hint: start at Steve Morse's site.
